The ingredients needed to prepare Chatpat Mirchi:

  1. You need 100 gms of Besan / gram flour.
  2. You need 5-6 of Mirchi / red chilli powder.
  3. Prepare Pinch of haldi / turmeric powder.
  4. Use To taste of Salt.
  5. Use 1 tbspn of Ajwain / carom seeds.
  6. Use 1 tbspn of Oil for batter.
  7. Provide Pinch of baking soda.
  8. Get As required of Oil for deep fry.
  9. Use 1 tsp of Chaat masala while serving.

  1. In besan add turmeric, salt, carom seeds, soda, oil and mix it well..
  2. Now add water to it and make it to a batter from.. consistency should be thick enough for mirchi to get rolled into it completely.
  3. Slice mirchi vertically and dip it into the batter and deep fry it until it turns out to golden brown in colour..
  4. Sprinkle lill chat masala over ut and serve it with your fav green/ Tamarind chutney..
